The plot is as oddly meandering as ever, and the Governmental villains are typically frustrating, but someone had a lot of fun directing and in the editing suite this week. Plus, the bird/car chase through a forest was a genuinely fantastic action sequence.

How fantastic was Prince John?!
With Prince John being awesome, and the slightly more 'royal' feel to the castle now, and the shift in style this series generally, Robin Hood is now pretty much what it ought to be. My only criticism is that without Marian, Robin's character is now somewhat lacking in focus. If we had a Marian character in place of that awful Kate character, the series would now be pretty much spot on.
Well, apart from the exocet arrow from last week that might as well have come down with snow on it.
