X-Men
3x03 The Phoenix Saga Part I: Sacrifice [2nd watch]
Alright, here we go: arguably the most famous X-Men story, in its first screen adaptation (of three — so far). They devoted five whole episodes to it, which so far at least lends a slightly more leisurely feel. Not slow per se, more that you can tell it's only just beginning.

13x02 Revolution in Space Episode Two
+ the behind-the-scenes featurette at the end of CD1, which was a bit of a surprise — I know Big Finish include that kind of material, but I didn't expect it mid-story. Fortunately, they're sensible enough to not put any spoilers in it.

Critical Role
2x44 The Diver's Grave [1st half]
This is the episode where the first animated title sequence is revealed. Back when I started, I knew that wasn't coming until episode 44, which sounded impossibly far way away. I mean, 44 episodes is two whole seasons of a US network TV show; and each episode of Critical Role is around five times longer than your typical US network TV drama. Nonetheless, 170 hours of roleplaying (and ad reads and fan galleries and other such shenanigans) later — the equivalent of 227 episodes of a US network drama; more episodes than all 11 seasons of The X Files, for example — I'm actually here.
It's kind of a reminder that, as far away as the end of Campaign 2 and/or catching up to 'live' seems, all I've got to do is keep going and I'll get there one day. Okay, being all caught up won't happen until sometime in 2026 at the earliest (unless Campaign 4 starts before I'm done and I just skip Campaign 3 and/or watch 3 alongside 4), but one day...
