Thurman film takes £88 at UK box office by Simon Reynolds
(from Digital Spy)
"Its total takings for Sunday were £9, meaning only one person paid to see the movie on that day."
Oh dear.

It sounds silly, until you realise that:
a) it was only shown at one cinema, for just three days, and
b) if it costs £9 for one person to see it, no wonder nobody bothered. £9 for a cinema ticket? That's just robbery.
What I've also just noticed is the obvious -- £88 doesn't divide by £9. Which could mean some students/kids/OAPs went to see it, or could just mean Digital Spy are talking rubbish.
I know which I think...
...though I've found the cinema's website and an adult ticket is £10... or £13 at a different time...
Crikey.
And thus... mystery solved. A film nobody heard of, showing at only one cinema for a very short time, at extortionate prices? I wonder why nobody went to see it?
