Collection Count

Collection Count tracks my DVD/Blu-ray collection via a number of statistics every week.

This week brings a new addition to the Doctor Who: The Collection Blu-rays in the form of Season 24. I have them all on DVD too, of course, but I'm upgrading them with these Blu-rays — but only ditching the DVDs once all their special features have appeared in The Collection (some are being rearranged to more appropriate seasons). In the case of season 24, two of the stories still have an exclusive extra on the DVDs, so I'll keep them for now.

I also picked up a bunch of titles in HMV's Premium Collection sale, only one of which was also an upgrade, so there's all this going on:

Of which Blu-rays: 1,556 [up 8]
— of which Ultra HD Blu-rays: 105 [no change]

Number of discs in collection: 6,642 [up 17]
Number of films: 3,058 [up 6]
Number of additional cuts: 225 [no change]
Number of TV episodes: 9,082 [up 7]
Number of short films: 868 [no change]
