Rewatchathon 2021 #19. I was trying to watch an awful lot of films I'd never seen before this weekend, to push my June tally up towards 20 films (and then reach that mark during the week). But I haven't even got close to where I needed to be (more like the low 130s than the mid 120s), so I gave up and rewatched this instead.

The other two newbies were, of course, sale buys — more in that vein next week.

it moves like the clappers and is committed to being almost relentlessly entertaining. Perhaps it’s a little hardcore for younger fans (and even that aspect has lessened with age, with the chest-ripping special effects looking a little ropey nowadays), but otherwise, what’s there to complain about?

The sixth and final Inner Sanctum Mystery. The series had its moments, but, overall, it's hardly a forgotten gem. I'm not sorry I watched them, but unlike, say, the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films, I won't be in a hurry to rewatch them.

Picking up my Indy rewatch after a longer-than-intended pause. As with Raiders, the watch count is a guess — I have no idea how many times I saw this as a child. It felt like loads, but I was never one of those kids who watched things again and again and again on loop, so it might only have been a couple of times. I guess that's what my count is assuming, anyway. Anyway, the film is really good; probably my favourite Indy movie.
