Collection Count

Collection Count tracks my DVD/Blu-ray collection via a number of statistics every week.

I said last week would probably be the busiest of September, with one new release and seven sales purchases. And it still is, but I hadn't expected this week to come so close.

That's due to a bulk order from the US arriving super-speedily, plus I didn't realise Black Widow was out on disc this week until last weekend, so that was a last-minute (still-technically-a-)preorder. Throw in another couple of new releases (Early Universal Volume 1, and Days of Heaven from Australia via Amazon UK) and this week's tally is a more-than-respectable seven new additions... although one of them's a BD-to-4K upgrade, so the numbers fall one short of that.

Number of discs in collection: 6,705 [up 12]
Number of films: 3,102 [up 7]
Number of additional cuts: 231 [up 2]
Number of TV episodes: 9,098 [no change]
Number of short films: 874 [no change]
